Keep the whole folder together: data/, backups/, versions/ and the launcher live inside it.

Before you start

System	Windows 10/11, Linux or macOS (64-bit)
Disk	About 200 MB after unzipping
Node.js	Not required — the runtime is included
Account	None. All data stays in your folder.

Unzip the package, run start.cmd or ./start.sh, and open http://localhost:3001 if the browser does not open by itself.

The launcher is not code-signed. If you downloaded it from the official GitHub release, choose More info → Run anyway. It is a one-time step.

The included runtime is not signed. Allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security, or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine . inside the folder.

If start.sh does not run, make it executable with chmod +x start.sh inside the app folder.
